Why work for us?

We care about you as much as you care about our clients. Make a difference to people's lives and become part of the most recognised and trusted home care service providers.

Saga Care at Home is a Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated, nurse led business with a ‘Good’ CQC rating. We pride ourselves on enabling our clients to remain independent in their own homes for longer – all thanks to people like you.

To provide the highest levels of home care, we make sure our carers are properly looked after, with up to 28 days paid holiday including bank holidays for full-time carers, a competitive starting salary and a market-leading benefits package.

All Saga carers have a permanent contract and guaranteed hours from day 1 of their employment, so they can form meaningful relationships with clients and provide high quality one-to-one care.

We believe that all our Carers should have the skills and time to care. Experience is desirable but not essential, as you will be fully trained to deliver a quality service to our Clients. Whether you come from a completely different industry, have looked after family or have a background in care, we would love to hear from you.

  • Guaranteed hours from day 1 of your employment with us and no zero-hour contracts

  • Paid mileage – 25p per mile, plus paid travel time
  • The flexibility to work full or part-time
  • Paid induction training towards The Care Certificate, plus ongoing training and opportunities to gain further qualifications.

  • Speak and write fluent English
  • Hold Valid Right to Work in UK
  • Possess a manual driving licence (this is mandatory if applying for a visiting carer position)
